Overview

ProCell® About The Product

ProCell® Surgical brings innovation and automation to surgical sponge blood recovery

Sterile, single-patient medical device

Up to 50 uses within a single-patient case

Operates on a vacuum commonly found and available within the OR (300-500 mmHg)

Enhances blood conservation and promotes patient blood management practices

Eliminates the need for manual hand-wringing of surgical sponges

One study showed the use of ProCell® had an average reduction in lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of 37% compared to hand-wringing. 1

The reduction in LDH could have the potential for a greater net return of packed red blood cells (pRBC) from IAT when using ProCell® vs hand-wringing.

Optimizes blood recovery to minimize the need for transfusions

Cost effective accessory to a hospital's existing IAT equipment

Ergonomically improves safety and workflow
