How ProCell® Works

How ProCell® Works

ProCell® is easy to use.

Simply place the surgical sponges inside the open basket, replace the lid, and attach standard O.R. vacuum suction.

ProCell® does the rest.

The lid automatically deploys in a downward direction effectively extracting the blood from the surgical sponges. The collected blood is then sent to the IAT equipment for processing by inserting the IAT-connected suction tip directly into the open reservoir. The vacuum suction tubing must be detached from ProCell® before the lid (or lid and basket) can be removed.

ProCell® functions as a blood collection device only and does not filter or otherwise process the blood recovered.
